Re: Rear rim bushings wont come out!!! Well, I'm learning that there is more than one way (Temp) that powder coaters use. And I am learning that higher temps offer better results. So, unless that rubber can withstand so many hundred ?F, then I want those bushings out. But those darn things...

Re: Rear rim bushings wont come out!!! I am at this point of removing these bushings/dampers right now before powdercoating. My paint guys said to have them removed for sure, due to the high heat of the stripper to get the original finish off (Well more than a couple hundred degrees) And then...

Well I pondered doing the tires/balancing myself recently. Researched static balancing equip, tools to do it, elbow grease needed....Then I went to my local motorcycle shop and questioned their $ and practices. $17.50 to mount/balance if you buy the tire from them, $25 if you haul your stuff...

I will say... I replaced my front pads with EBC HH sintered. Pulled out EBC pads of regular nature and the stopping power was almost exponential. I am much more confident with my stopping now. FYI Brian
