Has anyone here ever used or seen a set of Fazer/Radian gauges used on a Max to get a tach located where it should be? If you look at the gauge cluster, it looks like they should bolt up to the max steering head. Jarrett

Re: What Oil Wieght & Type? I actually used Castrol Syntec, got about 1 week out of my clutch. Made for an expensive oil change. Have never used the Mobil motorcycle oil.

Not yet. Should have some on Saturday after it is cleaned up and painted.

I widened mine quite a bit and it still clears the shaft with approx 1/2" lateral play. That is not an issue though as the drivesahft does not move laterally, only vertically.

I braced and widened mine on Tuesday. Have to prep it for paint this weekend. I will let you know how it works out. I think a 190 will work in there fine.

The left side cover has oil in it to bathe the starter gears and flywheel, so it iwll leak. The coolant distribution tube is directly in front of the starter and will mak eit very diffiecult to remove.

Thanks for the pics, do you have any of the whole bike? I owuld like to see how the black wheel looks with the stock front. I can notch the swingarm myself now while we are bracing it, was wonderign if it was necessary or not. I think I will now instead of moving the washer in an attempt to...

Got any pics? How much lighter is the 17" than the stocker? Did you have ot modify the swingarm at all to clear the 190? Thanks Jarrett

Re: Gas Milage I get about 90-100 miles per tank, about 25 mpg. I always tell everyone that if we see a gas station I am going to stop and fill up, I will catch up to them.

Which one did you buy, the one for the Venture?
