Hi all, As part of my Vmax's aim to drive me insane with numerous problems, it is now not starting. It turns over strongly no problem, but wont catch. There is definitely fuel and the coils are fine. I've tested the pickup coil and the resistance is fine (103.5 ohms with single orange/black...

I've got SRAD coils which I believe are 1.8 ohm ish? I'd better check them, ha ha... The newest version COPs are less than 1 ohm I know... Are 1.5ohm resistors the better option? Are the ceramic wirewound type ok to use? Cheers :-)

Yeah I have that same setup with the fuel reserve switch mounted under the switchgear. Same as an FJ1200 I think? As luck would have it the wires were knackered on mine and fell out of the switch while I was inspecting the rest of the wires in the main switchgear...I managed to get the reserve...
