Hmm...I was under the impression radials could be had that matched the stock height, both front and rear, with these wheels. I also thought the ME880's were all bias ply tires so thats a new one on me.

I will be installing a set of Carrozzia wheels soon and will be needing a set of tires for them. Knowing that the VMax is a heavy bike I dont want to pick up something thats going to wear out prematurely or be unsafe. Any suggestions from those that might already be in the same boat I will soon...

Just thought of a couple more things. Are these wheels centered or offset? Seems strange that a 180 will clear the swingarm unless they are offset wheels. Are these a direct bolt on deal utilizing all the factory parts?

Dont mean to derail this thread but this relates to these wheels specifically. First, I assume there is no need to change the speedo drive as the tire/wheel height is the same as stock on the front? Second, I also assume there is at least a little weight loss over a stock setup...any numbers...

I usually set sync at or below 1k rpm. Might give that a shot.

Im definately no carb guru but there are three tension springs, one per adjuster, that are installed right behind the sync adjuster screws. The only thing holding them there is a raised boss on one end. I would look to see if those are still there. See picture.
