Will drag bars=more comfort for me?

I'm glad the stretches worked...a simple fix is best! Clip or clap on handler bars are an option...I couldn't imagine anything that low or that far forward. How about a kidney belt or a weight belt for support? I hope it helps...

Will drag bars=more comfort for me?

I was born in '57, so I have to warm up before doing just about everything. Leaning forward to get off your tail bone makes sense, if you have a lower back problem. Hip Flexor stretches and exercise will eliminate the cramping issues. In Canada riding sleds and hockey in the winter help keep...

    93 Octane for the Max....

Well....I've learned something. ........gas from the USA is not the same as gas from Canada. Being a border town American gas is available. Years ago a carburetor engine would suffer using it because of rock hard deposits that would form in the throttle body and Sea Form won't touch it. Carb...

    93 Octane for the Max....

........this nonsense thread? Well aren't we full of ourselves? You've been around here for a couple of years, myself a couple weeks. Please forgive me....how could I? If you don't think 116 Torco will make a difference, I don't know what to say? Most of my experience is from short track stock...

    93 Octane for the Max....

No man ever regrets buying quality. Part of the consideration is how much cleaner it burns. The additives that keep the fuel system clean are as well. Race fuel mmmmmm.....it smells sooo goood! 116 Torco is wicked ****....$$$$$$....how bad do you want it? In Canada, it was around $10.00/gal last...

    93 Octane for the Max....

Anything over 10:1 compression is borderline high compression depending on timing. 10.5:1 is enough to feel the difference. With all the threads on carb tuning, you would think that a little help would be obvious! If you're happy with less, I don't know what else to say!

    93 Octane for the Max....

I only run premium, unless I'm in a situation that I can't. Regular, the few time I've had to run it, made my 85 sluggish. When it's all about horsepower, regular doesn't make sense! I run regular in my stock slammed 4x4 pickup only....even the lawnmower and the weedwacker get Premium! How do...

    Chains in the carbs????

Anything happening in the carbs would not change the displacement of the motor. Bore and stroke determine displacement, so........? Bolt on flat slides or a 4 barrel and what happens to the displacement? Maybe the changes feel like 50cc more, but it's not. He's a dip **** or he just believes...

    The Joke thread!

I received a phone call from a gorgeous ex-girlfriend who this morning called 'out-of-the-blue' to see if I was still around. We lost track of time, chatting about the wild, romantic times we used to enjoy together. I couldn't believe it when she asked if I'd be interested in meeting up and...

    The Joke thread!

A drunk man who smelled like beer sat down on a subway next to a priest. The man's tie was stained, his face was plastered with red lipstick, and a half-empty bottle of gin was sticking out of his torn coat pocket. He opened his newspaper and began reading. After a few minutes the man turned to...

    Removing the stock exhaust

I removed an 85 system in about an hour without removing the rear wheel. I presoaked all fasteners and where the pipes slip together for a day. Make sure to put something under the system(rags or cardboard) to protect it from hitting the floor as you push and pull. It came apart in pieces from...

    stage one jet kit

Hi Guys, Great forum...spent the first week reading through a lot of the problems and solutions. This is quite a luxury to have! I feel the need to say, "Thanks", already for what I have learned, to all responsible! Little advise please.... I have an 85...about to install Holeshot 4-2 and a...
