Is it an aftermarket braided line? did the previous owner put shorter line on to go with the drag bars. If a stock rubber brake line would reach, someone here should be able to help.

I hear that, Rusty. Though I do have to say after renting a Street Glide last Oct, my Max felt like a sport bike when I got back home on it.

Congrats on having no wobbles. Last year when mine didn't have a wobble, I still had more to go at 130 and that was with me weighing quite a bit more. I am wondering what I can top out at now if I get the wobble under control. Right now 120 starts getting a little sketchy.

Actually, she is not intimidated by the full power V-Max. The problem she has is with the weight of the bike. She CAN handle the size and weight of it, she just doesn't like muscling it around in parking spaces and low speed turns etc.

More of a UJM than a muscle bike, but I found a "running but could probably use a carb cleaning" Maxim for too cheap to pass up. Now if the guy selling me will just call back ( I got a hold of the sellers Dad )

You will love being able to ride together. My wife has a KLX250 but she is looking for a bigger bike for when we want to ride longer distances on the open highways.
