I agree with take the course on the MSF's bike when it comes time to take the advanced course, if you decide you want to then take THAT on your Max. The grab rail look GREAT by the way.

I don't know for sure if the FZR1000 calipers will swap direct, however, I do agree with 135 horses at the wheel, you are right about upgrading the brakes. Personally, I think you could get away with just the calipers at first and upgrade lines when convenient. But, you are probably gonna get...

My buddy at work has a cafe style early goldwing done up in flat black and gold. I think it looks pretty bad ass. Sure he still needs shorter cables to go with his clubman bars but it is a work in progress. Sometime rattlecan bikes can look all right.

Another idea. Doesn't Supertrapp make the car mufflers in a variety of opening sizes ( including 2.5 in)? Not talking about the slip-ons but the universal car 'Trapps.

Sean's seat is the only real mod I have done to mine so far. It made a huge difference in comfort for me.

When I brought my Max home it didn't have them. I was silly and bought a set, but yeah honestly they aren't too important.

I have a general, NON Max related carb question for the experts here. Tearing down a set of Mikunis from my parts bike for the FZR project. Just wondering will PB Blaster harm anything on carbs? I have some stubborn screws on the float bowl side of this set.

If I could squeeze 190+ out of my Max right now, the wobble would be so strong geologists would pick me up an a seismograph before cops would get me on the radar. LOL
