I saw on youtube guy just cut pipes on m90. Looks like nothing wrong going on. Sound louder, of course. I don,t see nothing short aftermarket, what i likes. Probably i will try cut the pipes.

What is the point of long pipes on cruisers? I am planning to buy Suzuki M50, and want to cut the pipes in half, just like the view. How it will effect running of the bike? Shall i keep whatever inside stock pipes? And i want sound quiet and deep.

I was talking about m50 and m90. M109 totally useless for me, i ride mostly in LA. And vmax more than enough for that.

Prefer japanize bikes. And i want to make a bobber. Will go with m50, they looks like m90 but way lighter. And cheaper.

I am afraid m90 too heavy for the city riding. Its You mean 800 cc better than 1400? M50 the same dimension as m90, but 60 kg lighter. Just different cc's. I am mostly in LA traffic - with vmax is ok, but on a cruiser style i don't know.

One can use a drill, put it in reverse, attach to speedo cable and go back in time.

Stainless steel will look coler, as one can see its an upgrade, black harder to see, but more stylish. Hard to choose:)

Electrolite evaporates from battery fast. Looks like battery too close to hot engine. Will buy sealed one next time. There is not a drain, but some little opening in the battery for gases to come, maybe plug it with a cotton?

Bike will be totalled. If you decide to keep it insurance will pay you less by $1000. You can later reregister it. I just did in CA. Any questions - pm me. If your bike old, just get rid of it and buy newer.

30000 mi on my Max, started leaking one more and more. Doesn't matter were. Then both started leaking. Change both, because it is pain in the butt just to reach them. There is a great instructions somewere on the forum.
