Forgot to mention this is a not a VMAX. RSV4 Tuono on ebay. I don't have a good idea of price range on these used though.

Can someone further explain a rebuilt title? Does this mean it was a salvage bike at one point? Anything to be leery of?

OK I think I see what the problem is. I forgot that I'm using 2 right side pivot bolts(for more adjustment of centering wheel) instead the the stock drivers side one with the nut attached to the bolt.

Broke off before I reached torque spec. Has this happened to anyone? Options to get it out?

Can try smaller bore lines too. I've got Goodrich microbore ss lines.

I have'nt taken this off in a few years but looks like it needs internal cleaning. I've removed the rad and drain tube assembly for access for removal. Is there anything else that needs to move or is there enough room to wiggle it out at this point? Looks like the cross bar is very close to it...

What is the hourly machining rate these days?

When reassembling I would put some anti-seize around all joints

When you test drive a used bike do you hand the guy the cash to hold while you test drive (if he says no cash no test ride) or just show it to him so he sees you are serious. Never bought a used bike directly from someone so want to know what the protocol is if/when I do get one?

Yes..recommend plastic razor blade along with gasket remover . Gasket Remover will remove paint so use carefully

That final drive is a special order (not in stock) so would'nt be on sale. I've also got my eye on it but am not sure if i will do it. Would consider chroming it since the windows are easily removable.

Rocker arm must be attached to the carb chains. :biglaugh:
