What are my options for front side footpegs? The stockers are nice but HUGE! Anything aftermarket or even later max's with different ones?

Get the 4 colum and you can do all 4 carbs at the same time. Everything on this bike I have seen so far is metric. Sounds like you have everything you need so far. Did your bike have a toolkit under the seat?

It's pretty easy brother. I'm pretty sure there is a great write up with pics in the carbs section of the forum. mark did the write up. In short it goes like this.... 1. Remove Faux tank 2. Remove Side Covers 3. Remove Airbox (loosen screws on the bottom attached to each carb first) 4...

I had to do the same thing except I sent mine to mark. Yamaha put some white **** in them that NEVER came out! Just keep using this forum and in the end you will be happy as a pig in ****!

I find that to be pretty impressive. Yamaha makes a motor back in the 70's that still kicks ass in 2009! I had a guy on a HD tell me one time that HD almost bought the V-4 max design from Yamaha back in 83....I really hope that is not true!
