From what I have herd these carbs don't like sitting around. I personally would not put oil in my gas but use a product designed for it. I use PRI-G and seafoam every so often. I would try running seafoam through a few tanks of gas and see if it helps. This a cheap first step at least.

What does tying the lever back over night accomplish? I have herd this before. Is it just help completely bleed it out?

The method I used to get them in is to use my electric toothbrush to vibrate the tube as you put them in. Seemed to work well. If you don't have one maybe the girlfriend or wife has something that will do the same thing. Lol

So would the gap be the same for a resistorless setup? I plan to pull my plugs tonight and check them but would like to know if the gap would be the same since I do not have any resistors in with the wires going to the cops.

So I have never been very good at making sure gaps are set correctly. I am currently running iridium plugs with cops. Is this suggested gap plug specific or does it go for any plugs when running cops? Thanks
