With PPF it's easier with the part on the bike as you're not typically looking for 'complete' coverage as you would be with a vinyl wrap for a color change, which is easier to do with the part off the bike. That looks good, man...

Wrapping is definitely an acquired skill and I've gone through more PPF in learning than if I had paid someone to do it for me but I now have a reasonable grasp of it. Vinyl should be moderately easier as it's thinner than PPF and a little easier to work with but it's still an 'art'.

I wouldn't think a quality vinyl wrap would hurt a matte finish...they wrap matte cars all the time and I've got XPEL Stealth PPF on my matte black Ducatis and I cannot imagine I'd have any issues if I ever had to remove the film, it would just take some heat and careful removal. Might want to...

I don't think Partzilla 'makes' anything and I highly doubt they're going to machine a rear shock for anyone if they can't source one. They're a mediocre parts vendor, at best.

I had the same issue with some Rizoma mirrors on a Katana...they looked nice but the view they provided was worthless and I think the Stealths would be even worse with how low they mount. Took them off and replaced them with bar-end Rizomas. I've got some Oberon bar-end mirrors, the round...

They should as long as the VMAX uses either an M8 or M10 threaded hole for mounting the stock mirrors...one issue I see, depending upon how big you are, is that you may end-up with a great view of your shoulders.

Money well spent but all of Sato's junk is high quality and well made...you could also look at Webike Japan to see if they have 'Babyface' rearsets for less since that's Sato's brand over in the 'mother country'. Babyface VMAX Rearsets Look at that, with shipping included I just saved you...

Akrapovich and Dam seem to be the two most popular...Hindle's an option also and I some of the guys have tried Delkavic. It all depends upon how much you might be looking to spend.
