Check your carb sync now. That one may be off from the others.

This is when shift lights come in handy. You can run to redline and not have to look down at the tach. You can keep your eyes on the road and still hit your proper shift point.

I must add a word of caution about doing this when you have stainless pipes. You can very easily leave a oily hand print on your pipes that you wont notice until it cooks into it. Don't ask how I know.

+ 1 to what Garrett wrote, and I usually loosen up the bolts on the lower triple clamp hat hold the fork tubes also during the tightening process.

First I think you should contact your state police and inquire about what color running lights are allowed in your state. I believe that there are some states that only allow red for running lights. On my Max I am using LED amber in front and red in the rear. The rears are dual density LED also...
