I think HD has some of the most beautiful bikes made. I love the look of the crossbones springer, but I need more than that. For a 1500+cc engine, it's a dog. My VTX 1300 will outrun it stock to stock, and is way smoother. The only thing harley does better is gas mileage. Most harleys get 54-56...

Well it looks like we aren't going to make it after all. I have ran into some medical issues that won't let me make it. Y'all just have to have fun without us.

I live in Camden, which is 30 miles north of ElDorado. And YES the Eureka Springs rally is blast. We had 35 of us there last year. We couldn't all fit in hotel parking lot at the same time!

That doesn't make to big of a difference around here. It just means they have to drive even more to get beer. Fire-Medic are you in OK, or FL? If you are in OK, are you going to make the Eureka Springs Rally?

I'd just get it running, and make it a rat bike! Save some money that way. LOL

Krystal and I will be there, although we are not staying at the Eldeweiss. We are going to try to get rooms on the fly at the Ozark Swiss motel down the street, as we don't know for sure when we will be arriving there. We are taking 11 days off, to go to Eureka Springs the long way around...
