Hay gunrunner i like the way your gps mounted where did you get those mounts? i dont have a screen but i could just put a plastic bag over it also fyi im running stock bars i couldn't tell if yours were stock or not

So I would like to get a GPS that is motorcycle friendly. I dont know much about motorcycle specific GPS's but I have used them before in cars and I really want that conveince on my max. Does anyone on here have a GPS mounted on there max ? How does the charger work? is it water proof?

Could you explain your reasoning behind the chain being more efficent because the fact that the belt is lighter is a compeling argument.

Soooooooooo to kind of sum up everything we all relatively agree that belts are the most efficient but not much more than a chain which is much more durable.

I know all them motorcyle belts have teeth on them but when its all said and done it is still made of rubber so couldnt it still slip and will stretch when power is applyed which would = efficency loss correct?

What exactly is the plan for the bike? IMO something like this would eat up alot of time just hunting parts alone. Wouldn't be easier to make your own motor mounts and use a crete motor or something along those lines. I'm not saying go run for the latest s&s crete engine that has been done...

My interceptor had the same problem. I dont know anything about carbs but the shop i took it to said they just cleaned em rejeted it and the float valves had to be replaced. hope this helps.
