Re: gas mileage Hey, so when did your low fuel light kick in? I did a short trip last weekend myself, also with a bone stock 2002, the low fuel light, along with reserve had to be switched right at 130 miles. I'm using the mid grade 87 octane too, just my 2 cents worth!

So Mark, what temp rating does Yamaha give there o.e.m. thermostat for our max's? BTW...I checked with Napa, they don't show a cross reference for the 192 deg. one made by Beck Arnley! Seems a bit odd sice both Napa & Beck Arnley make the 180 deg. one.

Does anyone know the stock temp for the v-max thermostat? I just did some cross searching on the D&M site, that Napa 156 crosses for many other vehicles. Anyway, I did a cross check, found a brand called Beck Arnley has an upgrade to a 192 deg. stat. I'm wondering if this one would work good...

Re: Motion Pro ?'s The procedure on how to hook up a Motion Pro carb tuner to a v-max to sync the carbs. Either with the clear plastic economy model or the upgraded yellow one, both should be about the same product.

Motion Pro ?'s For those of you who have used the Motion Pro brand carb tuners, give me your opinions on them. Also, is a 5mm or 6mm adapter required when purchasing these units, or are they already set-up with the correct size for the V-Max?
