Ya those Chinese ones suck. Bought a 4 carb kit on eBay and the only thing that worked was the fasteners. Buying individually I believe OEM is damn pricey . Get the K&L kit K&L Yamaha Carburator Repair Kit 18-2879 It doesn’t have everything but it’s a good starter

I forgot to mention I installed a progressive suspension kit in the front forks.

I have a 2007 vmax with 6500 miles. New battery, tires, coolant hoses, carb rebuild. I bought this bike with 3500 miles on it, not running. I got it running, and dialed it in. It’s been fun as hell, but I think it’s time to move on. $6K SF BAY AREA

I ordered a 4 carb kit on eBay and nothing fit. The only thing that was ok was the included hardware. I hear this site is pretty good https://www.dellortoshop.com/ Or what I have done is get on Babbitts. At least there you can get the OE part number and search online for it
