not sure if this is the right place for this...but... i see a lot pf maxes for sale cheaper..because they have the bad 2nd gear...poppin put and whatnot. does anybody know aproxx how much the repair wld be..asumming second gear is completely spent? i most likely would not attempt it...

Hi guys, I have a 2006 with 5200kms - I notice the bike whines a bit in 2nd and 3rd. Is this nornal? The bike shifts cleanly and no other problems. It's not too bad, sounds kinda like some sportbikes out there. I bought the bike used so I'm not sure if this is a problem. Thanks! Elliot
