At almost no throttle,and i mean just barely twisting it,i get popping sounds from my air box,i know its comming from the carbs,but what could be the cause of this,the bike just had new stainless factory jets put in it by a Yamaha dealership(which in my experience) means nothing,any ideas on a...

Finally scored a stock airbox , have the stock main jets 153's and a full Walker Holeshot exhaust with K&N pod air filters. Is there anything I should change or be aware of after I swap over? Thanks

Does anyone know where the front hose coming off the bottom of the airbox connects too? Or should it be unconnected for proper airflow? When I took the airbox off it was loose and also at the very top where it connected to the airbox it was kinked badly to the point of where air probably was not...

Hi curious on which to get. How do the open ones perform in the rain... It seems relatively enclosed there... Any input?

Is anybody using drag bars that dont hit the airbox cover(faux gas tank). I have searched this site a quite a bit, and cant find specific bars. I dont have a large budget, So $100 bars are out. Thanks, Brad My max is a 85 if it makes any difference.

Hello all, i have a Kerker 4-1 and want to put 4 single air filters directly on the carbs (removing the airbox). Is there a simple answer to the question which jetting would be the best for this combination????

Has anyone tried running with the top of the airbox off? Seems like it would get much better air flow than just the two small inlets built into it. Can you plug the crankcase inlet on the airbox and just put a filter on the end of the hose to vent crankcase the to atmosphere? Will this hurt...
