I am contemplating getting a set of Stax for my carbs. I am either thinking of chrome or powder them gloss black. My scoops are chromed so I think both would look sharp but am curious if anyone has a set of black stax and could take a picture of them on the bike for me.. Thanks!

My 99 has the half polished alum, half black air scoops from the factory, what's a good home fix to remove the black paint from the lower half with out scuffing or marring up the aluminum? I like the full polished aluminum look. Thanks.

Hi guys. Just wonder if someone can tell me what the black tar crystals are in the intake manifold. Is this cause for concern? All four intake ports were like this. Some worse than others. I had to remove the carbs to clean them and notice this after removing them.
