hi all, I just wondered, having seen the mods here, what the deal is with fitting R1 rotors and calipers to an '86 V-Max? Can the rotors and calipers come from any year R1? Or only specific models? Are both a direct bolt-on, or are adapters needed? Thanks

I am going to get the adapters and was wondering: What year R1 or R6 calipers do I need? Can I use 2003 R1 rotors on a 85 Max? If not which used rotors can I get besides the newer model stock V-Max rotors?

Does anyone know exactly what I'll need to make the swap? Will the rotors bolt right up to my old school spoked wheels? I'd like to do the rear as well just to keep it uniform.

I've been using Velvoline synthetic formula ABS on it, I usually flush the brakes and clutch ~ every 6 months ( for my severe street usage). Any better brands ? or preference? Thanks ________ roor bongs
