Went to Martin a few weeks back and ran down the track a few times and got my personal best time. I have a lot to learn. I'm running a stock max with delkivic slip-on cans and k and n filter no jetting. My total weight was 800 lb and I have dynoed my bike twice and got 118 hp and 121hp.

I just installed Drag bars and Buell pegs to my 97 VMAX AND all I can say is wow what a difference. The pegs took a little time to modify but well worth it. I am 6'4 and 225. I highly recommend them to anyone over 6' feet.

Going with a stock 1985 rim in the rear with a shinko that has low tread is 5lbs lighter and 9/16 of a inch shorter. anyone know the weight differance between the 1985 rim and a newer style rim. I also have a 1985 front rim and i hear its 3lbs lighter than a new style front rim.

I have a new set of drag bars & clutch n break levers for sale. I had them powder coated orange ( couple small nicks from removing clamps hide most )but ended up buying another set & had them done in black. $40.00 for the set or $25.00 each.
