Hey all,
I have the 07' tribal faux tank and would like to trade for just the plain old black one. Not carbon or flat black but the just plain black gloss one. Any takers?
Thanks,
John
After such a ****** disastrous week of hell, I feel happier I got my cover back and it's a little different than before.
I'll go the same way with the tail .
When you look at this schematic, which part number is for the little clips that hold the rubber moulding on?

I think it is this:
43:
MOLE 1
10296-001 Enter 0-99 $0.85
Does that seem...
Just got the rubber moulding piece that apparently mounts along the top edge of the faux tank between the tank and the tach. But I haven't figured out how it's supposed to go. Can someone take a pic of this rubber part on their tank so I can see how it goes?
I'm repainting the bike and want to have the Yamaha logos back (bike came without them). Are the tank logos decals or are they plastic badges that have to be glued on? What do you guys recommend?
I decided to take a grinder to the top of my VMax :ummm:
then some fiberglass, sandpaper then spraypaint
:punk:
PS: I got rid of the Y piece months ago

Does anyone know where to get some kind of cover or leather protector to put on the fake tank that will fit a vmax? I got a leather jacket and im scratching the $%#@ out of my paint with the zipper! Didnt notice untill too late, thank god they are light and will buff out with some wax.
Also...
hi ,chrome/polished
long upward curved 1's. a set of 4 of course. sort of the 1's like the 2 only company's i know of, except these are longer and go upwards. not just straight out.
also they look like the 1's that come on the 2000+ carb set up.
trumpet carb top covers.
if you have them...
