fender

does anybody have either one of these on their max? i'm picking both of these up from the body shop saturday, just curious to see what they will look like. dave

Does anyone know a cheap souce for a front "fender extender" - the thing that can increase the length on the rear of the front fender to avoid mud and crap being thrown up the radiator fins. Exactrep sells them, but they are ?30gbp + shipping (about $50+ ?) which seems a lot of money :confused2...

I looked but didn't see it...the parts numbers are different because the paint changes every year... Will the early front end fender fit the later front end? (an '85 fender for a '01 bike)? Thanks.....

If you are getting a 09 vmax check the front fender for scratches and maring. It is prone to getting scratched and or mared due to the way it is packaged for shipping. It can be easily damaged if blade is used to open box.

My new 110/80-18 Radial front tire is about 1" shorter overall than the stock 110-90-18. Where can I source some 6mm ID spacers so I can get the fender back close to the tire? Kinda looks like a motocrosser or adventure tourer right now....

greetings all i'm a newby getting ready to change over to radials 180/55/18 on a ebay rear wheel and 110/80/18 on the stock front his tire should be almost a 1" shorter so i will have to lower the fender. my question is what are you guys all using when ths is done...

Howdy again, After so many owners who used a lot of paint and sandpaper, the rear fender on my bike is in bad shape. Does anyone have one in good shape they would let go of?

I'm getting ready to install radials and I am looking at putting a spacer between the front fender and the fork brace. Since the bike is in storage :sleep::sleep:I would like to find out what length of spacer that I need to have in order to have the same clearance from fender to tire as stock...

Never did like that duck bill on the rear fender. Bought a used fender off of eBay and proceeded to make the necessary alterations. It's much simpler than it might look. Use a hacksaw with a new quality blade in it and mark the cut with a pencil or perm marker. Getting the radius right looks...

OK guys here is the rear fender half way done, sorry no flames and sculls but even that could be done but I consider it inferior and not original. no one set will be the same and each set will be given a name. the coming set is named (evil max). negative comments are welcomed ( honest ones)...
