Ok guys here is what I have done: 1) removed air box. 2) removed fuel pump feeder hose from fuel rail (tee). 3) put hose in an external container and turned key on. Fuel came out of hose that was connected to the fuel rail and is connected to the outlet side of the pump. Did this 3 times,each...
While cleaning Neil's carbs I decided to use a small piece of copper wire strand to map out where each float bowl orifice went to. Thanks to Mike Costa for the idea. Using the wire also helps unplug those tiny holes...especially the bypass outlets just above the throttle valve.

Step 1, strip off the scoops, faux gas tank and airbox

What are some issues or problems I'd see if I had either a flaky float or float issue. Besides the obvious of fuel coming out of the overflow, what other issues would I see. Trying to think out some theories here, so I need to bounce some ideas.
