Hey guys, just a quick question. On my 85 Vmax I have done the R/R wire mod . Red wire direct to batt. with 30 amp fuse. and direct ground wire to frame / batt. Charging is up to 14.2 VDC at idle. When the headlight is on though the charging volts drop to 12.3 VDC. Is this normal?
