hose

The small hose from each carb, that sticks out the side in the chrome holder, what is the function of that again. I think it's a breather but I can't remember. I've lost one of mine and need to know if it has to be in place.

On the stock airbox there appears to be two hose nipples on the bottom. The rear is larger than the front and the front has a small round foam filter inside where the air filter plugs into. On my bike the rear has a hose that attaches but the front did not. Am I missing a hose or is there no...

Could someone who can get to their bike help me out?Does the hose from the bottom of the radiator go to the fitting above the bypass valve or the one over on the right?
