Hello, I'm going to put progressive springs in the forks and I noticed that if I ever want to change my fork oil in the future I will have to remove the forks or turn my bike upside down, I'd rather have drain plugs to drain the fluid. It looks like there is a place to install plugs if I wanted...

I was reading in the FAQ's. and it was suggested that the forks be lowered 1" inside the triple tree, and that the forks themselves them be collapsed 1.25-1.5 inches. How do you lower the shocks themselves? Lowering them inside the triple tree is self explanatory, but how do you lower them...

My 99 has the half polished alum, half black air scoops from the factory, what's a good home fix to remove the black paint from the lower half with out scuffing or marring up the aluminum? I like the full polished aluminum look. Thanks.

Does anyone offer a seat with no tool area under the passenger seat to lower it? Looking at my ufo seat.. its just to much of a rise after the gas cap.

I saw on Vmax Outlaw he sells a temp unit that allows the fans to come on 20 degrees sooner. I searched and didn't see any DIY on a switch setup. Would you all recommend the switch vs the kit from outloaw? Thanks, Sid

I was in Albuquerque the other day and saw a newer Max at the stealer. It had a blk lower fork guard that also was the fender mount. Is this factory for the newer Max's , and if so will it fit the older models ? Thanks, Chris

i like the look of the lower bike with progressives, but im not willing to compromise smoothness. does having shorter shocks affect create a harsher ride than the extra 1 or 2 inches from stock height shocks? thanks for any help

I put on a set of 11.5 progressive shocks and like the way the bike looks. Do I have to lower the front? Is it going to effect the handling of the bike? It's not a big deal to lower the front, I just like the way the bike sits right now.

I want to buy a VMAX really bad. However, the bike is a little tall for me. I am tip toeing when the bike is not moving. Is there a cheap and simple way to lower the bike by 2 inches?
