It is cut down and I had flames added to it. What do you think? I have yet to make a big ride with it,that will happen this weekend. It sits lower than the stock seat I am not sure if I would want much lower.
This thread I am documenting from start to finish my adventure in taking a perfectly good running 1999 Vmax and messing with it.
I will be submitting entries at each phase of the adventure, as much as i can communicate.
I have obtained an extra air box lid, also an extra oil filler cap...
Figured I may as well start a thread with some of our paint schemes. Check out this latest one. I've included a before, during and almost after set. Still a lot to do before we are done.

Well, this is going to be a multi-post thread, but I wanted to keep anyone interested, updated with my progress. I am in the middle of (actually I'm just getting started on) getting Sean Morley's Muscle Carb Kit installed as well as getting a little laughing gas put in. I purchased a Nitrous...
I just installed some FirstGear Silverstone saddle bags to my 2003 Max. I mounted them under the seat and they do not impede the passenger. I originally had some OLD Chase Harper ones that I was using, but they were fairly small and looked bad. The V-max is not a very 'saddle bag friendly' bike...
OK guys, I am doing a one time (at least I think it will be) sale on seats. I will be doing a total of 10 at this deal (9 left). I will be offering free shipping to customer ($20), free two tone carbon fiber material upgrade ($20), and free outlined logo ($20).
The seat must be all three...
I picked up a 56K mile 93 Mustang LX coupe to compliment my 89 25th
anniversary coupe this weekend.
The 93 is extremely clean, even has the original paint. The shortblock is stock with GT-40 heads and intake topped off with a Procharger. The original owner (I'm the 3rd) had already converted...
Sean's website is back up and working :banana:for those that want to check out his Vmax goodies! :coolgleamA: You can click his banner in the upper right hand corner of your screen to take you to his site.:rocket bike:
Just wondering if ya go for lowering the seat, how much are you giving up in comfort. I like the idea of my feet being closer to the ground, but I'd like to be able to ride for more than a hour a day. They say the stock seat isn't very good, I tend to agree with that statement. How do they...
Just got my Morley muscle seat in and WOW. I tool the old seat of and had the 2 seats side by side. I could see a little difference between the two of them. But really didn't get the full effect until I put the new seat on and sat on the bike. It is a world of difference. SSooo much wider...
This thing is way better then the normal Corbin. Check out the pics. Once we get it on the bike we'll try to get some more pics of it. We reshaped the seat and refoamed some of it for more comfort and better looks. What do you think?
