    Progressive Lowered Fork Oil Level

Quick question. When you lower your forks (1" or 2") with the progressive kit, you still measure the same distance from top of the fork tube (compressed) to the level of the oil right? I don't think the height of the bottom of the slider to the top of the fork tube when compressed changes...

Progressive drop in fork lowering system

Just noticed that Progressive Suspension has this available now. http://www.progressivesuspension.com/dropin/index.html Unfortunately not for the Vmax:bang head: Hey Morley, any chance you could talk to Progressive about making them for the Vmax. It sure would be nice to not replace the...

Has anyone used both 412 / 440's? Progressive suspension

Has anyone used both Progressive suspension 412 and then 440's? I am looking for a comparison from someone who has used both and actually compare the two with their own experience. I am wondering if the 440's are worth the extra dollars.

90 VMAX front progressive install questions

OK, broke down and bought some new Progressives for the front of my 1990 VMAX. Just wondering if it's a pretty straight forward install, or if there are any gotchas. First of all, is there a special tool for the hex nut on top of the shocks? If not, what size is that, I know I don't have one...

    Ricor vs. Progressive Springs

I recently purchased both the Ricor Intiminator and Progressive Springs. Does any one have experience with both who can give an opinion whether I should use one other the other? My understanding is that I really shouldn't use both.

    Progressive 440 settings....

Who here is running Progressive 440's? I'm a newbie v-max owner, and mine came with pretty much brand new 440's (stickers are still on them). They were set as soft as they could go, but I figured I'd like them a little stiffer than that. I turned them each 5 full times (1/2 of the range) and...

First Set of 430 Progressive Rears

Thought I would post pics of the first set of 430 progressives (11.5"). I think they will be a great shock. I need to get the exhaust adapters coated up and mufflers on then will take them for a ride. I think they will be a great addition to our product line. Sean Morley

Race tech or progressive fork springs

Plan on changing the fork springs on the bike as I have to change my fork seals. Was going to get some progressives from Sean but just wondering if Racetechs are any better. I just picked up some progressive 440's so I usually try to match components assuming the developers plan on there...

    trade 11.5 progressive 412s

For 12.5s. I think my bike sits a little too low in the rear. I'd like to go up an inch.

Anyone need some 13" Progressive 412's?

I picked up a used set to check the length. Puts my bike a little higher than i want(i have a USD which lowered the front and a 17" rear tire which already lowered the rear). I guess 12.5" would be best for me. Anyway, i don't need them. They are in good condition, but the painted parts could...

    Progressive fork spring question

Ready to install my new springs. I've read on this forum where people say that the proper oil level is 4.8 from the top. When I read the enclosed Progressive instructions they advise the maximum oil level is 5.5 inches. What gives. Both measurements were given with the fork fully collasped.

    11" Progressive 412 shocks

Anyone interested in a mint set of Progressive 412 rear shocks? They are 11" long. I picked up a set of 12" 440s and they suit me better.

    Progressive spring?

As I'm doing my head bearings I decided to check my forks and refresh fork oil - got some 15 weight Bel Ray. Here are the collars and springs that came out of my forks. PO said the bike had Progressive suspension front and back, so I thought I'd ask the experts here. They do look beefier than...

    Progressive spring length

Just bought a set of used Progressive springs on E-bay. Cleaned 'em up nice & shiney & popped my old springs out. That's when I noticed the difference in size - the "new" progressives are the same diameter as the factory springs , but are only 15 inches long, whereas the factory springs are much...
