i got a set of R1 calipers & master cylinder :punk: my question is how have people mounted the R1 master cylinder resivour :hmmm:

Have been reading trough the treads but cant find the answer to my question I have just got a set of R1 calipers for the front of my 95 VMAX i know they will blot stright on but will the VMAX standard Master Cylinder work with these calipers :hmmm:

was wondering if anyone else here is running the r1 front end? i realize the max is far heavier than the r1 so i want to respring the internals in the forks. right now i'm having an issue with the headers scraping when i brake in the turns. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Does anyone know exactly what year R1 brake calipers a 2000 Vmax can use? I found one place that says 2000-2003 R1's are direct bolt-on but what about other years?

Hey guys, I've scored some Ducati Brembo calipers, and then some R1's from ebay recently, and I'm wondering what to put on the Max. I have Brembo's and Braking wave rotors on my ZRX, and it stops when you look at the lever. I hear the R1 calipers are excellent also. What to do...

Does anyone know exactly what I'll need to make the swap? Will the rotors bolt right up to my old school spoked wheels? I'd like to do the rear as well just to keep it uniform.

I know you can use R1 calipers on a max, but can you use R6 calipers? They appear to be the same but I would like to know for sure.

Someone refresh my memory on this..can't remember if someone made an adapter for this (not the MEK conversion)

I have a 2000 VMAX and would like to know if the forks, triple trees and brake calipers from a 2004-2006 R1 or R6 will fit. Is it more involved than a simple bolt on or will they not fit all together? If needed, I can then swap the front rim etc.
