removing

I started to remove my stock exhaust but need help. I first removed the (2) bolts that hold the muifflers on and loosened up the (4) clamps, but the mufflers didn't want to come off. Any ideas? I don't have a service manual, so if somebody would be so kind to post step by step instructions...

I personally don't like the lower black paint on the scoops. Is there a simple way to do this yourself? If not can you get it done anywhere (what do you ask for)? Or, do you have to buy them predone (where?)
