storage

Hi Guys, Went to get my bike out of stoage today and when I tried to start it I put full choke and it started but stopped right away, tried it again and it would stay runnning at 4000 rpm but as I closed the choke it would cut off right away I couldn't ease it closed. Finally I ran my battery...

I have my bike in a heated storage and I put Seafoam in the gas and filled it up before putting in storage. Each month ( which has only been 1 so far ) I go there and turn the ley to fill the bowls. Should I start it from time to time also? Thanks Ron

Hello, Sorry I haven't been around but had family emergencies with my 2 inlaws, both were ill and one was put in a nursing home the other in hospital. Long story shortened....we had to clean house out everything either had to get thrown out donated or saved for auction we had yesterday...

Ok, I need some winterization advice for the bikes (Max and ZX6R). It's gonna snow, it's gonna get cold (-30C/-22F), so what do I do? Bikes will be stored in my UNHEATED shed, existing floor is concrete, the addition I need to add will be wooden.

Is there a storage compartment on the VMAX other than where the tool kit goes? It seems the passenger seat wants to lift up and could possibly have a storage area but I cannot figure out how to remove it (If there is storage under there).

hey guys, What's the preferred way to store the MAX for winter. Since this will be the first winter for me, i was thinking of simply changing the oil, filling the tank and adding some stabilizer, connecting the battery to a trickle charger and throw a cover over it and let her nap til spring...
