Well the transformation has begun. Bought a pro pilot 4 GT for the rear and ripped everything off for paint





This is the color I bought for it. Killed two birds with one stone because I can paint some of the stuff on the vmax with it too. It was the color I wanted all the blue on my vmax to be. Including the rims

I guess yours is a little darker than mine. I mixed mine my self it has a lot of flake in it.

Nice!! Yea mines from napa. I really like there paint. They use Martin senour which is a Sherman Williams company. It almost looks black inside till light really gets it.. I cant wait to paint. If only done one metallic before and it was a tinny piece to an airplane so im hoping I do alright. Plus all the cures to the plastics of the VFR are making me nervous lol

Just take your time & make sure you spray really even or else you will end up with what I call tiger stripes (dark & light spots) Martin Senour is good paint . I am a PPG person but there both good paint.

How's that look?? now only if I knew how to buff. I'd sand it smooth and buff it but ill end up burning it and getting pissed lol and I dont have the money to spend to have someone buff it :/

Looks pretty good ! Buffing is not to bad you just have to really watch the edges

The only problem is I might have to sell it along with my FZR . Last week my furnace quit had to buy a new one spent over half of what we had saved for our wedding (2300) Then find out stupid propane took 5 months to get me on a budget plan and I owe 1050 for propane by April 30. The most I can save up a month is around 200 because of all the bills. Im Hoping for set my student loans on forbearance until october after the wedding because thats 400 a month that would let me save money. Also the previous owner of the house is taking use to court because she over looked the 400 gallons of propane that was in the tank. Never put it in contract also wasn't in any closing stuff. So if the judge rules (which he shouldn't) in her favor I would be owing her 1200 ugh. The joys of being a home owner... I think its to late to try to sell my snowmobile so it might have to be the bike if we want a wedding.. but dont worry I will never sell my MAX unless they come out with a badass gen 3 lol.
