12v actuator needed

Hey Guys(or gals) , Im going to start a mod for percie :biglaugh: and Im looking for a 12v actuator with a 4-6 inch stroke & a 700 1000lb cap. I figure theres alot of different resources and applications that you guys (or gals):worthy:may have knowledge and or access to that I might not even think about:ummm: Thanks , the cats on its way:clapping:

To move that much capacity would require an ENORMOUS solenoid. Are you sure if needs to move 1000lbs? Air or hydraulic would be the only practical way to get a small enough size and throw. I could be wrong though.

Sounds like you are wanting to make a retractable centerstand/sidestand which you might find out there already and can adapt it over.

BMW tour bikes have that feature although I know nothing about it. Might be on micro fiche somewhere for reference.

KJ , thanks I'll reserch that a little more. Pat Im going to look into that too. Sean, Yes Im going try to build a center "stand-lift" . If I have to I'll use the actuator to push a lever to lift the bike but I think i can find what I need for dirrect lift. time will tell.

Ah, a 12V motor like KJ found would do the trick too.
