Possible things to look at, if you can get a good look at the drive sprocket and see if it hasn't popped a tooth off.
The cases were welded up? Maybe see if there's any fracture thru that area.
Possible snapped tooth in the tranny although I'd think you would hear that anytime in that gear.

I will have to do some more digging. One would think if you sheared a tooth in the trans it would have came out in the oil, but it could be stuck up in there to. I will get up by the sprocket and see if I can see a damaged tooth as well. After some hard running I get about a 4 inch puddle that leaks out from the air box. I still have the stock breather T ed and a vent in the oil fill connected. Once winter rolls around and I Tear the bike to the bare frame to get the neck refitted I will fab up and mount a catch can that will drain back to the crank case.
