2WE VMax in France

Hi everyone,
I live in the south of France and recently got this longtime wanted 1993 VMax (2WE) imported from Japan. France had specific engines restricted to 100 BHP (2EN) but I thought I would rather go towards the original bike.

The one I got looks like it has not been running for a while and got here quite dirty.
I'm currently giving it a lot of TLC, cleaning the carbs (facing issues with fused jets so far...) but it turns out not too bad.

I think the Japanese bikes have 'caps' on the slides making them taller to keep them from moving as-far as a USA market bike.

I must admit I freaked out when I read the chart @maleko89 published in this thread . Japan bike are restricted to 97 HP but it looks like this is related to "3UF" engine codes ; mine is coded 2WE from after '90 so should be 143 HP@ 9000RPM.
Do you guys think I could be wrong ?

Cool then, the VBoost is there and fully functional
