Was reading an article in a bike book bout a reporter that came across a Triumph Rocket 3 in Perth Australia that was in for a service and had done 185,000kms . He was thinking thats alots of kms . Well this bike reporter takes a couple of pics thinks nothing else of it and goes on his way .
Fast forward 7 months and this reporter happens to be at the same dealer in Perth again and comes across this Triumph Rocket 3 in for a service he takes another couple of pics and goes on his way .
Its not til later when he is going thru all his old pics that he realises that it the same bike and the fact that the bike is now 275,000kms on her .
Not the fact thats alot of kms but also that its 90,000kms in 7 months .
Apparently the owner has ridden around Australia several times and thru the centre many .

In the last 7 months thats inexcess off 430kms per day . :clapping:

Must be independantly wealthy........can't have a job and ride that much...:confused2:

Or he likes to prop up the back wheel and tie off the throttle, seafoam perhaps? LOL :D

I put 400kms a day on my Max commuting back and forth to work. If I were to say have 6 months riding weather and rode every day, 5 days a week, I would have say 52,000km/ season. That is not including all the other weekend riding I do. Thus far I am just shy of 30k km this year with a month and a half to go.
