What are you using to protect the helmet exterior when using the helmet lock? I hate laying the helmets rubber lining or the fiberglass directly on the exhaust pipe. T I A

I never use the lock. I just put my helmet over the mirror. I've never had a problem.

I use mine but have a 4-1 exhaust. I’d think the lock would be useless with the stock bazookas. They get damn hot.

Thanks for that...I will investigate. I'll want one that is exactly the size of the tube that it is fixing to, be it handlebar or structure because, in my experience, anything that claims to fit various sizes, never fits the smaller size perfectly.

One question...what does Part no. 6 do in this assembly?
