A Vmax with a Venture motor !?

Picking it up on Thursay - Pics will follow! I think that shifter's a Venture item - not 100% sure it's actually the same..

looks similar to me.. hard to tell without being up close to it..

It is the Vmax item. The Venture one exits out the hole in the stator cover and is not anywhere near the same.

i want to buy off NG, i've also been thinking about the dale walker frame braces. think they would work together? i can't tell from any pics where exactly the brace comes down...

it looks like from this it works with the OEM ones but, i'm not sure about the ones off of NGs new parts bike...

Looking at the picture and the picture of the walker braces on mine, it looks like it would be a fit. Looking at the mount the walker brace attaches to the upper bolt so the brace should pass just over the top of your guards.

FYI, Walker's braces will not fit with a Corbin seat without modifying the seat.

also thanks m-cman. i did know that. my new one has a stock seat on it and if i do any upgrades to it, it will be morley's, not corbin, so i'm good i think!

I'm seriously thinking about getting a venture for the longer rides. I'm toast after 100-150 miles on my max. I'm sure I won't make it even that far on the 14.Might be cool to have a venture with a max top end on it.

I loved my Venture Royale, I regret getting rid of it. I still see it around town every now and then.

I've always wanted to do a gen 1 over myself. I know that the Vmax head thing has been done. Check out this site http://www.venturers.org/ check out their tech library... lots of good stuff. A lot lot of the basic motor stuff pertains to the VMAX after all they are cousins.
