Main prob is getting the unit to communicate with the laptop.

Reading lots online from various forums that all have problems like I'm getting...ie not connecting to pc.

On the disk there is a file to make the data cable communicate. Did you see the instruction sheet that I sent?

Fixed all the miswired wires and still no spark.

I'm sure either myself or Eric can get it reprogrammed and verified working on a local chassis. Cost you postage to get it here and back.

I've been in touch with John Furbur and seeing as I will be visiting to get my seat I will take all the parts inc COPS there and we will try them on a runner.

Ok...so the Ignitech is not working.
Went to Johns yesterday and after warming up a max we swapped out the stock cdi for my igni...no spark.
Stock back in....fired straight back up.
I've emailed Garry to ask if he still has a contact at Ignitech...going to call them today regardless...see uf they will help.
If not I'll be calling Sean to ask his advice
At least I have an answer...and its nothing I have done on mine thats caused it.

Looks like my Ignitech unit has become a very expensive doorstop.
Software updates didn't work.
$300 and a few months down the drain.
No chance of warranty from Igni as its a 3yr old unit even though its brand new and unused.
Huge thanks to Eric for going above and beyond trying to s I rt it.
Not impressed with the suppliers of this unit
