Acorn nut size

just seeing if anyone else had noticed on their bike if the rear shock lower mount acorn nuts are different sizes? I bought a used swingarm on eBay to replace my bent stock one and noticed that the acorn nut is way too big now. It looks like stock size is an M10 nut but the new one is an M8.

Manual says M10. Maybe the stud that goes into the swingarm on that bike is different?

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking too. eBay said it was a 1993 swingarm and my bike is a 92. The actual shaft that the rear shock slides onto is the same size so shouldn’t be an issue, just thought it was weird that the size for the nut was different.
