31 now... Bought my first bike with 22 ('98 vmax) and then i bought a 2004 R1 in 2006 and sold it 2 years after. I bought my second vmax this year in january, so now im the proud owner of 2 beautiful maxes... Yeti and Grizzly...

I'll raise the average age up a bit - 61 as of 4/18. Bought the bike on my 35th BDay.

I am 48 and have been riding for 27 years. I've owned only 4 bikes.
1980 Suzuki gs550E
1979 Suzuki gs750L
1979 Yamaha xs1100 Special
1996 Yamaha Vmax

I still have the 1979 xs1100 Special and the 1996 vmax.
I will never sell the xs1100 as it has been the most reliable bike I've ever owned. It is comfortable and fast (not vmax fast...but fast enough).
I've had the vmax for 2 years now. I always wanted one and it's a blast to ride. If it wasn't for vmaxforum and vmoa I would have ditched the vmax after the 1st year as it seemed to be problematic. I'm glad I stuck it out and found great help here.

36 now started with 80-81 yamaha 650 Special, had for 2 weeks, 88 FZ 750, not bike for awhile, found a unusual 96 or 7 VX800 Suzuki , sold bought 02 Buell Cyclone, had for 2.5 years, just Clone for 98 Vmax now also have wanted one since i was 15-16 also, now its in my garage along with my 70 Cutty

21, Started on a 2006-ish Honda Rebel 250, moved up to a 1981 Honda CB750K, rode across the country on a 1999 Honda Valkyrie, and just bought my 97 VMax last week!

My first bike was 82 maxim 650 I had it 15 years ago and wanted a vmax ever since. I'm 37 and finaly got a 2000 about 2 months ago.

47 as of July, riding street bikes since 1985. I've only had 4 bikes titled in my name, although I went through a period of buying & selling bikes from auction in the early 90s, which would add about 20 or so that I won't catalog here.

First bike, 1983 Honda Nighthawk 650. Phenomenal motorcycle. I'd have one just like it today if I had the room. Entry level bike that still had some serious Oomph. Honda marketing tagline : "It's the 650 that's eats 750s for lunch".

Second bike, 1986 Kawasaki Ninja 1000R (GPz 1000RX outside the US). Got it when it was 18 months old from a man selling it to pay off a debt. Paid $3500. Fast. Mother-of-God-fast. Fastest production motorcycle in the world at the time. 158 or 161 (mph) depending on which magazine tested it. Smooth, comfortable. Kawasaki used basically the same engine in the Concours for around 20 years.

1986 VFR 700F. V4. $3000. Almost as quick as the Ninja to 100mph. Perfect sporting motorcycle for the street. Loved it.

I got my 1993 VMax last year, and I really like it. $2000 on EBay. Thrown at least another $1800 at it, including the seat from Sean Morley. Love the hell out of the engine, for how it pulls and how it sounds. I'd like it to handle a little better, although it isn't as bad as some make out, and I'd also like for it to have a little more leg room. I wanted one from the day I first saw it back in 1985 in the bike mags.
