I have to wonder if that weed had been doped with angel dust... Done that **** before (the drug, not decapitating people) and I can attest that is some seriously bad ****!

Here's a local 'stand your ground' defense case:

http://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/miami-dade/article29762221.html

This FL guy killed someone over a dog walking incident.

Omar Rodriguez, a tormenting menace to his Kendall neighbors for years, insists he was acting in self-defense when he killed a man after an argument over a dog relieving itself in a yard.

Rodriguez is a much-reviled figure in Kendall, where many neighbors report episodes of stalking, bogus code complaints and frivolous lawsuits. Though he has been arrested several times, Rodriguez has escaped any serious jail time over the years. Since 2008, his neighbors have filed more than 140 complaints with police about Rodriguez’s behavior.

Read the article for more reasons why you should be glad you don't have him for a neighbor.

There are "recreational additives" that can trigger behaviors like this. You have to be pretty jazzed up to mutulate your dog but I think that little more than a 16oz latte would be enough to put a whiney naggy wife on borrowed time. A big ol' bong rip might have saved some lives on that day. :eusa_dance:

Im one of these guys that recognizes great medical potential for marijuana. I say this as a healthcare worker, not a smoker. Its appropriate medical acceptance and use would deal a devistating blow to the pharm industry and certain agencies that profit from the war on drugs.

The drug 'flakka' which is an analog drug often manufactured in China and shipped to the USA is a serious threat to the well-being of the consumer. One of the unfortunate side-effects is that it can raise your body temp to where you physically damage yourself. Psychologically, you lose inhibitions, and do things like attack others, strip-off your clothes and run around, and other anti-social activities. FL law enforcement and fire/EMS have in-service seminars on how to recognize the threat, and what is necessary to contain someone so-affected. Im Miami Beach, one homeless person used it and partially-consumed the face of another homeless person! Bad stuff.

The product is also called 'bath salts,' and can be consumed in a number of ways, the outcome is bad for the consumer, and for anyone who is unfortunate enough to be around when they do use it. Dozens of people in FL have died from using it, or being around someone who has.

Another article on the drug:

Areas across the country are scrambling to outlaw the drug, as it's not illegal until specifically named in laws or ordinances.

Somebody should have just made that dude a sandwich...

Seriously tho, the only thing that's in danger around people that smoke weed is cake. - dave chapelle

It's the additives that people put onto the natural substance that turns them into irrational, psychotic, dangerous assailants.

Even though the thc content of weed today is much higher than what was commonly available decades ago, the adulterants are what make the substances so dangerous. 'Spice,' 'weaponized weed,' 'bath salts,' it's bad stuff, similar to 'angel dust' in its effect on human hehavior.

Here's a story off a NY college student studying in Miami FL who becomes a very wealthy 'molly' distribution person. His career doesn't last long, but he made a lot of $$$ before he was caught. One of his purchases (below).

The drug 'flakka' has caused dozens of deaths locally being virtually unknown two years ago. I just attended a meeting at the Medical Examiner's Office where they were discussing the latest drug scourge, and its toll on the community.

Here's part 3 of the MiamiHerald story: http://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/crime/article36723141.html
Hundreds of local deaths are attributed to flakka or bath salts, whose primary source is Chinese labs. "$5 Insanity" is one street name for it. Extreme paranoia, hyperthermia, and hallucinations are reported side effects, unfortunately ending often in death for users.
