Very nice looking m/c , I wouldn't have given a thought to the glass sight holes myself . Matching blue calipers should look great .

I did some more checking today. The lenses I have access to are actually mineral glass and not plastic. They will remain clear for pretty much the life of the master. They are available in increments of .1mm most of the time but thickness of the lense varies. I also checked and I think the 16mm one will work since it is only a lense and not the entire thing. Basically it does not require the removal of the metal sleeve.

I need you to check the inside diameter with the metal in place then let me know.

I haven't got a mic Sean, but maybe I'll go pick one up tomorrow. Anyone else mind measuring the sight glass?

It's cheap enough that I might go ahead and get a pair on hand. They can be siliconed in place for that matter if they are close.

I just measured, and the ID of the ring is juuuust a C hair over 16mm.

If a guy could get a second ring for the other side you'd have it made.

THanks Cruzer. I'll have to double check when I get home, but I'm pretty sure I lost the metal sleeves when I pushed out the old plastic. If you think I can silicone the lenses in place without too much hassle, then order a couple for me. Any chance of getting replacement metal sleeves with the lens?

I don't think we can get the sleeves but we can probably get larger glass but need what you want. They won't be returnable. The nice thing is you can use about anything since there really is no pressure - just holding fluid. You could maybe even take a chunk of glass and grind it down to the size you want. Might look cool with transparent blue glass and an LED put into the fluid so the fluid illuminates. You would want to put the bulb where it could not be seen through the glass.

Haha - Get thee behind me, Mod Monkey!

That would be very cool - what would one do with the wire connecting to the LED? I'll have a look at them tonight and let you know what I want to do
