So thanks to my new desk job, I have a lot of time to fart around on the computer. I was on youtube and found this video of a custom 88 Vmax
I am not going to say I was blown away... but I was damn sure impressed. Natrually, because I love the seat conversion. Went to their website and saw what they have been doing to some other older bikes, THEN i was blown away. I can deffently see myself owning a second bike down the road and now that I see the posiblitys of older bikes (cosmeticly) I deffently plan on getting an older street bike (way down the road)

The CB cafe racer makes me want to build a Suzuki GS 1000 based cafe. I used to ride an old GS 750 and was reading an article about the GS1000 Wes Cooley replica, it got me nostalgic for a GS. Another old Japanese classic I would to make a cafe job out of would be an old Yammi XS. The Max build they (BBR) did is pretty sweet there, too.

If I ever sell my vmax, my next bike will be either an old cafe racer or new streetfighter (z1000). I'm really liking old goldwings, GL1000. Here's one I really like.

I'm with Misiek. i'd love to have a cafe goldwing. There's an 1100 at a shop near me that's a mess, but would make a great project.

I often wish I had a simple old inline 4 with air cooling, so I can do a Cafe racer.
All I need is something with a good motor, and preferably a good set of pipes. Then it's mostly labour and love, with fairly cheap 2nd hand bits, to make something cool.

That CB is sweeeeeeeet!!
