Barnett Question

Fellow Barnett spring pressure plate users,

I installed the pressure plate, replaced the fibers and left the 1/2 disk in the rear. Took for a drive an all is good. One thing I did notice was that the clutch engages about 1/2 thru the lever travel...is this normal or am I in for another bleeding session? Love the feel and the pull is similar to stock if not lighter...which is contrary to other posts here.

Mine engages about the same place as the clutch I took out and does have a stronger pull

Mine feels normal, maybe a little heavier.

If you mean 1/2 way not including free play then maybe there is a bit of air. It's hard to tell without experiencing, but if you feel that maybe something is wrong then bleed it. They are just a bit tricky sometimes.

Thanks guys...I did the conversion after the winter break and I didn't ride the old clutch before the switch so I may be it's in my head, but another bleed couldn't hurt...
