I got mine at wildbros but VmaxinID got his somewhere else for a stupid low price. I think his were an error that he took advantage of.:eusa_dance:

I haven't checked to see what they would do if I setup as a dealer for them. I would consider doing so and get the first person a special deal for buying the first set.

I think VmaxinID purchased his set off of ebay from the Carrozeria vendor. :ummm:
I haven't seen a wheel auction from them again.:confused2: Maybe they will run it again when I can actully afford them. :biglaugh:

When I talked to him he told me the name of the company but unsure who it was. It wasn't Wild Bros. though.

OK, got some info. First thing though, right now they are backordered on the front wheel. They have plenty of rears on hand.

Let's set this up like a group purchase:

Retail is $1779 for the pair

One customer sale - $1679 (yamahonda 36 - email me direct for your price for being the first customer).

Two customer sale - $1579

Three or more sale - $1479

If you get three or more guys to go in on a group buy the price would be killer for an extremely nice set of wheels.

You still will have shipping to add to these prices.

Dont mean to derail this thread but this relates to these wheels specifically. First, I assume there is no need to change the speedo drive as the tire/wheel height is the same as stock on the front? Second, I also assume there is at least a little weight loss over a stock setup...any numbers? And lastly, whats the widest tire that can be used without any washer swapping etc..? I "may" be interested in a set myself.

I would be very interested in getting these rims in polished,...possibly 18's.
Doe's any one have any feed back as to pro's , con's of having 17's over 18's?
I'am planning on the 3" stretch swingarm from Sean, and run with a 190 rear tire. I want a (lowered look), without too much turn restriction.
Has any one here done any thing like this?

No need, you are correct.
a **** load of weight loss is more like it. I forgot to weigh mine but it was alot.
I am running a 180/55 with room to spare, no swap needed.

Get polished, mine look F'n kick ***.
They only come in 18's for the vmax.

Thanks for the reply VmaxinID. From what I've gathered thus far I'm leaning towards these 18" wheels due to close to stock overall diameters (rpm and speedo reasons), less rotational weight can't hurt and the price especially if we can get a multi purchase discount! Besides I'm almost due for a set of tires anyway...may as well kill two birds with one stone.

Just thought of a couple more things. Are these wheels centered or offset? Seems strange that a 180 will clear the swingarm unless they are offset wheels. Are these a direct bolt on deal utilizing all the factory parts?

Thx man,..don't suppose you have a pic of them installed ,..wouldn't mind seeing them mounted.
Here you go, found a pic of 4gasem's bike on their site:

I got mine off of Ebay. Seller turned out to be Carrozeria. $1200 :punk:
Install was a piece of cake and they appear to be just about dead center, if they are offset at all it is no more than 1/16", I have a 180/55 also w/plenty of room.

Pics are not very good but.....

The black anodized looks real good on my bike but they are an absolute ***** to keep clean.

All in all maybe the best "bang for the buck" performance mod I have ever done to one of my vehicles, makes the bike better in almost every way.

Thanks for answering my questions guys. I can't decide if I want to go with black or polished...I know the polishing is more expensive but I really like the way it looks.

Absolutely brilliant guys , thx for the pic's. The black looks very sweet , but from experience, the polished would be easier to clean , and look just as sweet . Very nice ID, thx for the pic.

I noticed some front tires smaller than the rear..? Better handling?
4gasm, really nice bike. rotors look killer with those rim's.
