You aren't all that far from me in the Dallas area.

I would for sure check the shift segment. It may need a trans upgrade which we can easily do and even get you an overdrive. We can do 1300 conversions (or bigger) and even sell you a good used engine (years and mileage vary). Email me directly for current engines available and price sheets for the custom builds.
