yup that's what it sounds like. lol, getting so frustrated. right rear cyl. "cuts out" but only sometimes, I did the "shotgun blast" thing and it seemed to go right away. sweet! but came back in a day or so. some days it runs fine other days I get a mile or 2 down the road and it does this "dead cyl" ****. if I reach down and give some choke (about 1/4 choke) it instantly kicks right in and cruses fine.
when it "acts up" it still goes alright under power (when under a load) but as soon as I back off and roll back on to maintain speed is when it cuts out.
Oh and I know this may sound weird but when I throw my feet up on my crash bars it does it... my legs are not even where the intake air comes from.... so lost.
I noticed that on top of the carbs there are some "vents" mine do not have the hoses on that hook to the top of the airbox. not sure if this would affect anything but It has been lijke that for as long as I've owned it and only started running ****** this spring.
I have flushed the carbs repeatedly, and it is the same one that always cuts out, right rear...
getting real frustrated. :bang head:
any imput?

new plugs, wires, drained/flushed carb bowls, checked fuel filter (clean), ran a bunch of seafoam through the lines, air fuel mix was just about all the way in on that carb the first time I pulled it. ( I haven't taken any of the other carbs apart at all, only flushed them) I have played with it in and out with little change, again, this does come and go. when I drain the bowl I'm not getting anything (dirt/rust)

I have printed off a couple of carb teardown procedures, I am having trouble downloading the manual. from what I can see I need to pull all 4 carbs to get to my jets, can anyone tell me if that is correct? is there any way to get to the main jet without removing the carb?

Just changed my main jets and you have to remove carbs to get to them, no easy way around it...

Are you running any fuel stabilizer? I was running Startron a few years ago and it would plug my pilot circuit every time.

I think there is virus going around this year cause mine has been acting funny too.My right rear has the plug a little darker than the rest and it hasnt done that in the past and the plugs are new.Its the V max plague.

coil is good marsmax, checked that. I have some seafoam in the tank grimmie. I pulled it apart down to the carbs again last night, and blasted a bunch of carb cleaner into the fuel intake on that carb and drained repeatedly, got very little amount of crud out of it. put her back together and she still farting on that cyl, going down the road. at cruising speed it skips, as well as sitting there idling.. give a little choke, she idles up a bit and runs like a top. It runs alright under a load

Tank is nice and clean, no crap in fuel filter. But lookks like i'm pulling thae carbs :( is there a rubber seal on that block on the inside of the carbs or do i need to buy a gasket?

Once you get it straight, you won't believe how well it will run. I know it's a pain but stick with it, it's well worth it.

Clean the pilot jets and pilot circuits and that should take care of it.
